A focus on custom WAVE Ortho-K
Eye D Vision is WAVE Platinum Certified—among the top 10% of Ortho-K providers nationwide. Our focus is WAVE lens design: using detailed measurements to create and refine an individual design for each eye.
Medmont: detailed maps before lens design
We use Medmont topographers to capture corneal topographies—the maps of the front surface of your eyes. This helps us understand shape as well as prescription. Medmont describes its E300 as having a gold-standard reputation for specialty contact lens fitting; our emphasis is on using detailed maps to guide your custom care.
Beyond preset fitting sets
A preset fitting set offers a range of predefined lens designs. WAVE lets us build the design from your corneal map and prescription, with flexibility to adjust the geometry for your eye. Our approach centers on custom-designed lenses rather than simply selecting the closest preset fit.
Customization with a purpose: clearer daytime vision
We use that design flexibility to work toward a well-centered fit and clear, comfortable vision after the lenses come out. Follow-up measurements and your daytime experience help guide refinements. We use this flexibility to personalize your fit and support your vision goals.

Our Bayside examination room. Follow-up visits help us assess eye health, lens fit and daytime vision.
Map, design, evaluate, refine
Your Medmont measurements inform the WAVE design. The lens design is sent to the laboratory for manufacture. After dispensing, we assess the fit, eye health and vision, then adjust the plan when needed. The same individual approach applies when we design new lenses after a transfer washout.
